General Aviation

In addition to commercial flights, Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) provides a dynamic General Aviation (GA) environment.  MacArthur Airport provides three Fixed Base Operators (FBOs), providing a full range of aviation services.

These FBOs play an important role, providing charter service, and flight training. Additionally, the airport is an active center for aircraft maintenance, sales, police, medevac and much more. Approximately 250 aircraft are based at MacArthur Airport. The Town of Islip’s Foreign Trade Zone is located next to the airport property.

Landing Fees

Landing fees are charged to all General Aviation aircraft and will be assessed at the time of departure. The GA landing fees are billed by Vector Airport Systems at the following rates: Click here.

 Individuals requiring unescorted access to the Air Operations Area (AOA), Restricted, Secured or Sterile Areas at Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) must have an airport-issued photo identification badge.
